How You Can Advance Your Periods Naturally

Carotene rich foods like papaya, pumpkin, carrots and herbs like turmeric, ginger, etc are recommended. Eating heat inducing foods like red meat, jaggery and pineapple also help.

Carom seeds (Ajwain )

Foods rich in carotene

Eat food that contains high amounts of carotene, such as papaya, pumpkin, carrots, apricots, peaches, spinach, etc. Carotene present in these fruits and vegetables helps in stimulating the hormone estrogen, thereby inducing your periods early.

Papaya

It’s one of the most effective home remedies available to pre-pone periods. The carotene present in raw papaya stimulates the hormone estrogen resulting in contractions in the uterus and which help in inducing periods. It also helps generate excess heat in your body that helps to pre-pone your period. This will also help improve your vitamin C intake.

Method:

  • can be consumed raw twice a day or
  • one bowl of fresh ripe papaya eaten everyday around the middle of the cycle or
  • one cup of papaya juice (approx. 200ml) with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice.

Carrot

Another food that’s rich in carotene, carrot can be consumed plain or in the form of juice as many as 3 times a day. Carotene promotes estrogen production, and with an increase in estrogen levels, you can advance your period a bit early.
